Last weekend Miele Nigeria decided to take a handful of Nigerian celebrities on a culinary trip to Asia. Chef Eros, Miele Nigeria’s chef ambassador stood in as captain, while the live kitchen at Miele Nigeria’s Victoria Island showroom served as the afternoon plane.
Passengers on board included Waje, Maje, Tewa and Tayo of Exquisite Magazine, Toju Foyeh, Misi Molu, JJC Skillz, Fade Ogunro and Zainab Balogun of Ebony live.
The flight took off early enough in the day with a show and tell of how to make crab rangoons. Everyone had a chance to wrap and deep fry their own individual rangoons. The highlight of that session was most people even after eating their rangoons couldn’t stop calling them wontons.

The next course was sweet and sour chicken with stir fry rice and vermicelli. Everyone had to chop vegetables and each took turns in stirring the main pot. The main point of discussion for the day was hinged on the correct pronunciation of “Worcestershire sauce”.

All in all it was safe flight, each participant walked away with better knowledge of how to prepare Crab Rangoon, Sweet and sour chicken and Stir fried Rice /vermicelli.
As this particular class was strictly by invitation, Miele live kitchen will open its doors to the general public on Sat 2nd May 15 to come in and learn 1st hand how the celebrities did it.
